Remember the Alamo BBQ
Order window. Mis-matched outdoor seating. A wood pile. A smoker in the back intoxicating the neighborhood. Trophies in the window. A long line to request food.
Alamo BBQ – Why didn’t we visit you sooner?
Goodness walks out of this door.

The Reason My Hubby Took Me Out To Eat
Last week my husband emailed me an hour before quittin’ time about taking me out to eat. My paycheck usually goes to the eating and dining aspects of this marriage, so I pounced on the opportunity. We decided to check out Stronghill Dining Co.

La Chaumiere
Today – it’s cloudy and muggy. I’m doing laundry. My cat threw up on the tablecloth in my dining room – more laundry to do.

Watermelon Festival Pics – A Few Weeks Late
We always manage to go to the Watermelon Festival in Carytown, but we never seem to have a good time. It’s way too hot and way too crowded. And I really feel for the dogs who pant incessantly and have to walk the hot black pavement. Our strategy is to …

Where Do You Suppose My Hubby Wanted To Go For His Birthday?
Acacia, of course. And we had to sit at the bar (not because the dining room was crowded, but because it’s our favorite place to sit at Acacia). And, lucky us, our favorite bartender was there, even though he was supposed to be off.
We had to try a n…
